Frequently Asked Questions

Concierge medicine is a membership-based practice that allows me to provide more direct, personalized care and gives you easier access to me when you need medical guidance or support. Instead of feeling rushed through short appointments, you can communicate with me by phone, text, email, video, or in-person with the time and attention your care deserves.
By caring for a smaller number of patients, I’m able to truly get to know you and your health goals and partner with you in your long-term health journey. I believe that when a physician knows a patient personally, care becomes more thoughtful, individualized, and focused on prevention, wellness, and lasting health.

I am trained in family medicine, which means I care for patients across many stages of life and treat a wide range of medical conditions. My training includes preventive care, chronic disease management, acute illnesses, women’s and men’s health, and pediatrics.
One of the things I value most about family medicine is the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and families over time. Caring for patients and families through different stages of life allows me to better understand their health history, lifestyle, and personal goals so I can provide more individualized care.

I currently care for patients of all ages, including newborns to adults. At this time, I do not provide obstetric or pregnancy care, but I work closely with OBGYN physicians and can help guide medical concerns that arise during pregnancy.
-
I practice an integrative approach to medicine, meaning I use conventional medical treatments such as medications, diagnostic testing, and specialist referrals when appropriate, while also considering nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, stress management, sleep, and other supportive therapies that may improve overall health.
My goal is to identify and address root causes whenever possible while supporting the body’s natural healing processes alongside modern medicine.
-
Yes. My membership fee covers direct physician care and enhanced access to me, but health insurance is still important for services such as emergency room visits, hospitalizations, specialist care, imaging, procedures, and laboratory testing.
-
Yes. I can order laboratory testing, imaging studies, medications, and specialist referrals just like a traditional primary care practice. These services are typically billed through your insurance plan according to your individual coverage.
-
To provide highly personalized care and greater accessibility, I intentionally limit my practice to approximately 50–100 patients. In traditional insurance-based practices, physicians often care for 1,500–3,000 patients at a time. Maintaining a smaller patient panel allows me to spend more time with each patient and provide more attentive, relationship-based care.
-
Absolutely. One of the most important parts of medicine is not only helping people when they are sick, but helping them stay healthy in the first place. I believe everyone deserves to have a physician who truly knows them, understands their goals, and partners with them in maintaining long-term health and wellness.
In my practice, I focus on prevention, lifestyle, and early intervention — not just treating illness after it develops. Concierge medicine gives me the time to work closely with you on areas such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and overall wellbeing, while also helping you navigate health concerns as they arise.
